2017 Site Host Application

Please read the Site Host Overview packet and then fill out this application as completely as possible. If you are missing any information at this time, you may send it to sites@nwgreenhometour.org later. Once you click "Submit" at the end of the form, we'll notify you within a week if your site is selected for the tour. 

Your responsibilities as a site host

All site hosts and owners of homes on the tour must sign a liability waiver, either electronically or on paper. An in-person orientation will be scheduled about 1-2 weeks before the tour. You will learn the ins and out of successfully hosting a site on the tour at this mandatory event. We will contact you with the details. The tour will take place on April 29-30, 2017, from 11am–5pm each day. Each site will be assigned to one day or the other, based on region. The day your site will be on the tour will be announced in early March. Please be prepared to open your site either day of the tour. In most cases, we will provide a volunteer greeter whose responsibility will be to make sure all arriving visitors have signed the required liability waiver. As a site host, it will be your responsibility to ensure that the official tour signage, which points out sustainability features of your site, is present, and that outdoor signs, which direct visitors to your project, are strategically placed nearby. The tour is self-guided, but you must have at least one representative knowledgeable about your project on site to answer questions. Most site hosts choose to have multiple representatives present.
